We start with high-quality, thoughtfully sourced ingredients and keep our formulas simple and purposeful. Every ingredient is carefully selected for its quality, function, and place in the formula. Whenever possible, we choose organic, wildcrafted, and U.S.-sourced ingredients.

Everything is handcrafted in small batches and held to the same standards we expect for our own family.

What we're made of

Grass-fed & grass-finished tallow

Carefully sourced and rendered by us in small batches, without deodorizers or unnecessary additives. A hardworking, skin-compatible base at the center of many of our formulas.

Thoughtfully sourced botanicals

Selected for purpose, not simply because they sound good on a label. We choose organic and wildcrafted botanicals whenever possible, with attention to quality, source, and function.

Cold- & expeller-pressed oils

Carefully selected for quality, function, and method of extraction, with organic options prioritized whenever possible.

Virgin U.S. beeswax

Sourced directly from U.S. beekeepers and chosen for its quality, protective properties, structure, and staying power.

Carefully sourced minerals

Chosen for origin, purity, and quality, with responsible sourcing prioritized whenever possible.

 

What we leave out

A longer ingredient list doesn’t make a better product. If an ingredient doesn’t have a reason to be there, we don’t need it.
